Troubleshooting
How do I backup or restore a save?
Your auto-save backups are stored automatically in the SaveGameBackups folder. To restore one, copy the backup file into your SaveGames folder and rename it by removing the date and time from the filename — for example, change 12345678_AutoSave_0_2025-11-21_00_26_30.sav to 12345678_AutoSave_0.sav. Overwrite the existing file when prompted, then launch the game.
Where are my save files on Windows?
Save files: %localAppData%\Voyage\Saved\SaveGames\[YOUR_STEAM_ID]
Auto-save backups: %localAppData%\Voyage\Saved\SaveGameBackups\[YOUR_STEAM_ID]
Where are my save files on Linux or Steam Deck?
/opt/steamlib/steamapps/compatdata/1783560/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Voyage/Saved/SaveGames/[YOUR_STEAM_ID]
What should I try first if the game isn’t working?
Update your GPU drivers and operating system. In Steam or Epic, use Verify Files / Repair to check for corrupted files. Close background applications and restart the game. If you have performance issues, try lowering Shadow Quality in the graphics settings.
